Mediterranean Royal porgy sea bream


1 Royal porgy sea bream

Ingredients

  • 1 Royal porgy sea bream
  • 1 large yellow onion
  • 2 greenhouse tomatoes
  • 1 lemon
  • 1 tbsp of chopped fresh parsley
  • 1 sprig of fresh thyme
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 2 garlic cloves, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Olive oil

Preparation

  1. Empty and scale the sea bream.
  2. Wash the fish under cold water and pat dry with paper towels.
  3. Preheat the oven to 350F (180C).
  4. Finely mince the onion and place in the bottom of the ovenproof dish.
  5. Cut the tomatoes into slices. Spread over the onions.
  6. Brush the fish with olive oil, salt and pepper.
  7. Garnish the inside of the sea bream with lemon slices, thyme, bay leaves, chopped garlic.
  8. Place the fish on the onion and tomato bed then add the chopped parsley.
  9. Cook for 30 minutes.
