The role of manager of the delicatessen and cheese department is to supervise a working team with efficiency to ensure the excellence of our customer service, while offering a wide variety of fresh and superior quality products, according to the standards of the Adonis Group. He will have to manage the operations of his department according to the sales objectives of the store, while respecting the standards of food hygiene and occupational safety of the government. 

Specific responsibilities 

Team Management:  

  • Ensure compliance with standards related to personal hygiene and dress code of team members
  • Follow-up on training and development activities
  • Complete and submit evaluation forms
  • Scheduling of staff according to needs and established budget
  • Activities related to the recruitment of staff

Customer Service: 

  • Ensure excellent customer service throughout the department
  • Customer complaint management

Deli Department :

  • Good knowledge of the different products offered
  • Establish and execute shelf merchandising plans and define food costs
  • Properly maintain inventory to minimize insufficient/excess inventory
  • Follow-up on receipts of goods and on the accuracy of orders
  • Ensure that displays and displays are always full, attractive and clean
  • Follow all store food safety procedures and track them
  • Complete the manager's tour daily
  • Other related tasks
